Ceremony Held at Brestgaz to Present Student Record Books to BrSTU Freshmen

A ceremonial presentation of student record books to first-year students of Brest State Technical University (BrSTU) took place at the Brestgaz production division of Brestoblgaz. This event has become a cherished tradition, symbolizing the close cooperation between the region's leading technical university and a flagship enterprise of the gas industry.

The spotlight was on freshmen from the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology who have begun their studies in the "Engineering Networks and Building/Structure Equipment" specialization. The presentation ceremony for students specializing in "Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation, and Air Quality Protection" and "Intelligent Life-Support Systems for Buildings and Structures" was conducted by Faculty Dean Oleg Pavlovich Meshik and Vladimir Gennadyevich Novoseltsev, Head of the Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation Department.

While handing over the essential document to the freshmen, BrSTU representatives noted that all the necessary conditions are now in place to train modern specialists. The partnership with Brestoblgaz plays a pivotal role in this effort. Thanks to the enterprise's support, a modern "Digital Gas Supply Systems" training laboratory has been established at BrSTU, allowing students to hone their skills using equipment identical to that employed at actual operational sites.

Dmitry Vasilyevich Shavlovsky, General Director of Brestoblgaz, warmly welcomed the new generation of engineers. He thanked the university representatives for their long-standing, fruitful collaboration and personally congratulated the students on this significant, symbolic milestone. As a parting word of encouragement to these future specialists, Dmitry Vasilyevich presented the first-year students with commemorative gifts from the company.

A tour of the Brestgaz training facility was organized for the students. They were able to see firsthand the layout of modern gas distribution units and familiarize themselves with the operation of specialized machinery and automation systems.
