On November 15, 2024, an off-site court session of the Leninsky District Court of Brest was held at the Brest State Technical University on a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus related to the repeated theft of funds from someone else's bank card.

During the court session, the guilt of the accused, a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, born in 1985, in the theft of funds was established and fully proven. It was established that the accused citizen committed this crime while intoxicated. The court, taking into account the characteristics from the place of residence, as well as the fact that this citizen is caring for his sick grandmother and completely repents of his actions, limited itself to a sentence of a fine of 30 basic units and reimbursement of legal costs for the work of a lawyer. It was said that the victim and the accused had entered into a pre-trial agreement and the accused had fully paid the victim the amount of damages.
