On January 26, 2025, the presidential elections were held in Belarus. On this important day, 5,325 polling stations were organized in the country, 861 polling stations in the Brest region.

Three polling stations were organized in the buildings and dormitories of the Brest State Technical University:

- Main building of BrSTU - polling station No. 79,

- Shopping center "Zodchie" - polling station No. 78,

- Dormitory No. 2 - polling station No. 80.

The precinct election commissions included 32 teachers and employees of BrSTU, the observers - 21 people, including 6 BrSTU students, including 2 foreign students.

Voter turnout at three BrSTU polling stations was 85.64%.

For the first time, voters, namely 403 people, received gifts from the Central Electoral Commission and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.

There were trading facilities at the polling stations, and the university's creative teams created a festive atmosphere.

The elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus on January 26, 2025 became an important stage in the political life of the country, an event uniting young people around the idea of ​​​​active participation in civil processes.
