On May 2, 2025, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets paid a working visit to Brest State Technical University. The delegation included: Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Vadim Ivanovich Olshevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Vadim Vasilyevich Kravchuk and Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee Sergey Nikolaevich Lobodinsky.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the competence center "Industrial Robotics and Digital Engineering", equipped with modern equipment and innovative technologies. The members of the delegation got acquainted with the capabilities of the center, got an idea of ​​the advanced developments and educational programs of the university aimed at training qualified engineers and researchers.

Following the meeting, the following areas of promising cooperation were identified:

▫ Improvement and modernization of existing educational programs.

▫ Development of new specialties and courses that meet the requirements of the labor market.

▫ Implementation of joint research projects on industrial robotics and digital engineering.

The visit confirmed the key importance of BrSTU activities in training young specialists focused on the needs of the country's economy and the formation of competitive engineering personnel of the future.
