On June 21, 2025, the closing ceremony of the II Republican Youth Forum "CITADEL OF MEMORY: ECHO OF WAR. LET'S PRESERVE MEMORY TOGETHER" dedicated to the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War was held in the assembly hall of the Brest State Technical University.
Among the honored guests of the closing ceremony of the Forum was Svetlana Nikolaevna Vodneva, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities of Pskov State University.
The ceremonial program ended with summing up the results of competitions of research papers, essays and video projects, determining the winners in each category.

The Special Prize of the Moscow District of Brest Organization of the ROO "Belaya Rus" was received by Oleg Mandik (Grodno State Medical University), Alena Golosovskaya (Rostov State University of Economics), Maria Naumova (Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation).
Various events were held within the framework of the forum, such as the defense of creative projects, a quest tour of the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex, a military-patriotic evening of poetry and bard songs "And the saved world remembers ...". The children also took part in the opening of a new memorial plaque of the "Defense of the Eastern Fort" exposition with the name of the defender of this fortification in June 1941, Sergeant of the 393rd separate anti-aircraft artillery division Mikhail Vasilyevich Tovma. Forum participants were able to get acquainted with the history of the Brest Fortress and honor the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
The forum ended, but the participants were able to attend other important events. Among them, the requiem rally "4 years of a long journey" and the military-historical reconstruction of the defense of the Brest Fortress.
The "Citadel of Memory" forum became a significant event for the youth of Belarus, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory and fostering a sense of patriotism. Its holding is especially important in the anniversary year - the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism.
