From October 20 to 29, 2025, the traditional volleyball tournament "BrSTU Rector's Cup" was held at the sports grounds of Brest State Technical University, dedicated to the glorious anniversary of the Great Victory. The competition once again brought together the strongest men's teams from all faculties of the university and the BrSTU branch, the Polytechnic College.

The awards ceremony was held by BrSTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich, who expressed gratitude to each participant and especially congratulated the winners, noting their strong team spirit, drive for success, and intense passion for sport.

The team from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering won the competition, achieving victory for the fourth time in a row. Second place went to the team from the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems, and bronze was awarded to the team from the Polytechnic College.

The athletes' personal achievements also captured the spectators' attention:

Alexander Sidyuk, a student from the II-30 group, was named the best attacker.

Alexander Leonovich, a student from the TMiO-13 group, received the prize for best setter.

Dmitry Gapeyev, a student from the L-26 group, was named the tournament's most valuable player.

The BrSTU University Sports Club, together with the BrSTU Student Trade Union, awarded the participants with commemorative gifts.

The tournament traditionally concluded with a friendly atmosphere and a strong desire to meet again next year to confirm their title and achieve new victories!
